When the lost find their voice, stories happen.
I was born in Greenpond, Alabama. I moved to Texas when I was fifteen. Later, I was educated at Lamar University where I earned a master's degree in clinical psychology. They offered me the chance to teach one summer class and I stayed for 10 years. While teaching, I also spent time opening and maintaining clinical practices in various Texas locations including: Port Arthur, Vidor, and Spring.
After an early retirement, I felt the urge to write about some of my clinical experiences, especially concerning the children I worked with. My first novel, The Children of Main Street, focuses on Katie Collier, a therapist who would do anything for the those she loves. The Children of Main Street is a work of fiction and debuted November 15 , 2018, published by Firefly Southern Fiction.
The sequel, God Bless the Child, will be released on October 15, 2019.
